General Hospital Star Johnny Wactor Shot And Killed Trying To Stop Robbery

There are times when somebody may be known for one thing on television or in the movies but they are a completely different person in life. On the other hand, there may be those who are well-known because of their celebrity status and they live their life in much the same way that they act.

For General Hospital star, Johnny Wactor, living life was very similar to what you might see on the set of capsule General Hospital. He was trying to rescue a female coworker from dying due to car thieves when he was shot and killed.

The actor was killed in Los Angeles on May 25. They were trying to steal his catalytic converter at the time.

According to his representative, David Shaul, “Johnny Wactor was a spectacular human being. Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him.”

He went on to add: “Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”

It happened at around 3:30 in the morning when he saw three people close to his car. He was working his second job at a roof tail bar with a female coworker when it happened.

At first, he thought they were telling him so he tried to talk to the men but when one of them pulled a gun on him, he shifted his body to protect his female coworker. That is when he got shot.

The three men took off in another car according to the police and they were all wearing masks. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital after arriving, but he was pronounced dead.

According to the actor’s younger brother, he had been shot in the chest when he caught the suspect starting to take his catalytic converter. His brother also said that he was backing away at the time and tried to protect the woman who was with him.

Although he was saddened by his brother’s death, he was not surprised by the way that he passed away. He said that he had been brought up as a southern gentleman, adding: “We’re Southern, born and raised, and we would never let a female walk to their car by herself.”

“He came across them and he thought his truck was being towed. So he said something to the guys, like, ‘Hey, are you towing?’”

“And then once he turned around, he saw what was happening and he put his coworker behind him. And that’s when they shot him.”

We will miss his acting and the world will miss having such a stand-up individual as a member of society.
